North fork vineyards10/30/2022 ![]() If you are looking for good food AND wine with a vineyard feel (hard to find on the north fork!) then definitely come to Mattebella! The grounds are also beautiful. I would highly recommend this vineyard if you are planning a gathering, Christine was so meticulous and spoke with me for months before the day. When we arrived they set the table beautifully, with a canopy nearby to shade the food as well as a water jug filled with mint a lemon- such a nice touch! I was worried it wouldnt be a filling lunch, but Christine assured me it would be plenty. They offer delicious food, including AMAZING cheese boards with high quality meats and cheese, duck sliders, crostinis and goat cheese and onion tartlets. I then found Mattebella, this family owned vineyard who went above and beyond for my luncheon. Most places were asking me to pay a site fee and hire a caterer, which would have been a very expensive ordeal. Naturally, it has changed dramatically since then, both aesthetically and agriculturally. It started as a 165-year-old barn, but now it is one of the best and most sought-after wineries. I brought home their sparkling rose, which is perfect for making their signature sangria! Another absolute star here are the charcuterie boards!! They are the best I've ever tried at a vineyard, so YUMMY! I can't even explain how good it is, you just have to experience it yourself, HIGHLY RECOMMEND this vineyard. Jamesport Vineyard was founded by a father-son duo in 1986 and is one of the oldest vineyards in North Fork. I went for a nonalcoholic sparkly pink lemonade this time and it was Delicious! I have friends of varying faiths who just want to come experience a vineyard without drinking wine so I love that they have some nonalcoholic options.
